Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has advised All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Barr. Sharafadeen Alli to channel his energy towards contesting against Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate rather than criticizing his administration.
Governor Makinde, the presidential candidate of the APM, gave the advice at Boye Nation/JAF Movement Mega Concert held at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The Governor Makinde, urged Barr. Sharafadeen Alli, should focus on the governorship contest against APM’s candidate, Mr. Bimbo Adekanbi, instead of attacking him.
The concert, themed “Young, United, Unstoppable (YUU)”, served as platform for formal reception of popular Ibadan-based political organizer, Mr. Ajiboye Akande Sangogade, popularly known as Boye Nation, and his supporters into APM.
Sangogade, an ally of former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, led thousands of his loyalists from the APC to the APM at the event.
The mega concert featured electrifying performances by Fuji stars including Alhaji Taye Currency and Babatunmise, among others artistes.
He added that his performance in the state, will determine who the people would vote for come 2027.
The event was graced by APM leaders, Governorship, deputy governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and Oyo Assembly candidates of Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
