‎…Success of our party and Gov. Makinde is a unifying factor
    ‎
    ‎
‎Mogaji Akin Fagbemi PhD, the consensus candidate for Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, has called for unity among political stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.
    ‎
‎Speaking on the need for cohesion within the party, Fagbemi described Giwa, Fagbenro, Babanumi, and others as his brothers, stressing that there is no room for division at this critical political period.
    ‎
‎He said the success of the party and that of Governor Seyi Makinde remain a unifying factor for all stakeholders, urging members to work together in the collective interest of victory in the 2027 elections.
    ‎
‎Fagbemi further called on all political actors and gladiators to close ranks, set aside personal differences, and focus on strengthening the party ahead of the polls. According to him, unity and cooperation remain essential ingredients for sustained political success.
    ‎
‎He also recalled that in both the 2018 and 2023 election cycles, he stepped down in support of the incumbent House of Representatives member, noting that he did not only supported the aspiration but also worked actively to ensure electoral success.
    ‎
‎Fagbemi cautioned his supporters and allies against any actions capable of creating rancour within the party, urging them instead to engage in constructive dialogue that would further strengthen unity and consolidate the party’s chances in 2027.
    ‎
‎He added that sustained internal harmony within the party would remain critical to its long-term stability and electoral strength, emphasizing that personal ambitions must always be balanced with collective progress.
    ‎
‎He further stated that leadership in politics requires sacrifice and understanding.
    ‎
‎”No individual aspiration is more important than the overall success of the party and the will of the people.”
    ‎
‎“I remain fully committed to the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, whose vision and governance continue to provide direction for our dear state.”
    ‎
‎”Loyalty to his administration is not optional but a responsibility we all owe to the progress of Oyo State and its people,” he said.
    ‎
‎He concluded by saying that consistency in service, loyalty to leadership, and dedication to the collective good of the people must never be compromised, as these are the pillars upon which sustainable development is built.
