On Sunday, March 16, 2026, a gathering of committed politicians from all 33 local governments of Oyo State came together to commend Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullah Olajide for answering the call to serve the state.

The group highlighted his selfless contributions to the people of Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency.

The desire to replicate progressive development in Oyo State is in alignment with Governor Seyi Makinde’s established roadmap for accelerated development projects. With continuity in mind, we firmly believe that Odidiomo’s intentions align with his leader’s vision for development.

Understanding “how to do it” is rooted in “why it should be done.” A determined and focused individual like Odidiomo recognizes the importance of embracing lessons learned under Governor Seyi Makinde.

The ODIDIOYO project brings us joy, and we hope that the unity and togetherness we cherish in Oyo State continue to strengthen.

Key group member Mr. Wale Giwa, a prominent auto dealer from Ibadan, along with Hon. Rasheed Adepoju (Omo Onibode), expressed their admiration for Odidiomo, stating, “This is God’s project, and it thrills our hearts that Odidiomo heeds the call to serve.”

Another notable member of the group, Alhaji Ganiyu Alasa, joined by Alhaja Sekinat Alakija, Mrs. Modinat Bisola Abolade and Mrs. Romoke Aderibigbe, emphasized the importance of having someone like Odidiomo take over the Oyo State secretariat, Agodi from Governor Seyi Makinde.

Chief Mrs. Modupe Shittu (Yommy Dee) and Mrs. Kehinde Moshood from Ibadan affirmed the sentiments of others. Hon. (Mrs.) Folashade Owoade from Ogbomoso North, along with Hon. Biola Khaleed, Hon. Alabi Azeez, and Mrs. Ojesanmi from Oke-Ogun, all expressed that the positive news surrounding Odidiomo encourages them to closely monitor his achievements as a lawmaker, leading them to wish for his governance in Oyo State. They pledged their support and committed to spreading awareness of ODIDIOYO throughout Oyo, Ogbomoso, and the Oke-Ogun region.

In a related statement, Mr. Adebanjo Sunday from Lagelu and Alhaja Adelani from Ona Ara highlighted that with Odidiomo, Oyo State can expect more peaceful atmosphere and economic growth. They believe that his international exposure and well-grounded business ventures will benefit medium-sized enterprises and farmers, thus enhancing the middle class.

While addressing the group, the Special Assistant on Special Duties to Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullah Olajide, Mr. Kunle Akindele, expressed gratitude to The Loyalist movement. He assured them that Odidiomo is dedicated to serving the people of Oyo State. He described Odidiomo’s calling as pure and his approachable style as boundary-less. He noted that Odidiomo delivered substantial results for his federal constituency during his first term, which led to his re-election in 2023, and he continues to bring development to his federal constituency, putting smile on peoples’ face.

Professionally, Odidiomo is a computer guru, a bio-informatician, and a renowned human genomics specialist. His experience has allowed him to hold top positions in Fortune 50 companies in the USA for nearly 25 years, managing diverse project teams, including offshore development organizations. His expertise in advanced computing architectures is well-suited for modern governance.

Odidiomo is a capable politician with significant electoral appeal. He has supported numerous businesses and brought federal attention to Oyo State through various developmental initiatives. With Odidiomo as the next governor, Oyo State will benefit from the continuity of good governance.

The developmental strides Odidiomo has made for Oyo State are impressive; his first year as a lawmaker surpassed all his predecessors in areas such as classroom construction and renovation, ICT hubs establishment, road construction, bridge building, river channelization, youth and women empowerment programs, and healthcare support, among others. Odidiomo is a valuable asset to our generation, and we are yet to see his full potential.

The group once again pledged its support for the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde and promised to intensify efforts in promoting and disseminating the positive message of ODIDIOYO across Oyo State.

    Signed:
    The Loyalist Movement
