The Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), Ibadan South East Local Government, under the leadership of the campaign coordinator, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, has organised a colourful and spiritually uplifting Inter-Faith Prayer Session for the success of the party and its candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The prayer session brought together people of different faiths and backgrounds, united in prayers for the success of all APM aspirants, from the Presidential Aspirant, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to the Governorship Aspirant, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, Senatorial Aspirant, House of Representatives Aspirant, House of Assembly Aspirants, Local Government Chairmanship and Vice-Chairmanship candidates, and Councillorship candidates.
In his welcome address, the Campaign Director-General, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, warmly welcomed all the dignitaries, religious leaders, party leaders, executives and members. He commended their commitment, loyalty and confidence in the APM, while urging everyone to remain steadfast and united as the party moves towards victory.
Hon. Alawode also offered prayers for the success of the party in the forthcoming elections, stressing the importance of unity, peace and collective determination in achieving the desired political transformation.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) representatives, League of Imams and representatives of Traditional Worshippers took turns to offer fervent prayers for the candidates, party members and supporters. Prayers were also offered for the peace, progress and prosperity of Ibadan South East Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The gathering served as a strong demonstration of unity in diversity, as people from different religious backgrounds came together with one voice, seeking divine guidance, wisdom, protection and victory for the APM candidates.
Among the dignitaries present were the APM Party Leader, Hon. Dare Adeleke; Party Chairman, Comrade Ezekiel Oluwole Olajide, Chairman, Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige; Full-Time Commissioner, Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Tope Yusuf; Vice Chairman, Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Teslim Ogundeji; party executives, as well as numerous enthusiastic party members from all wards across the council area.
The event ended on a note of renewed hope, unity and determination, with party members reaffirming their commitment to working together for the success of the APM at all levels.
