The acting National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, at the prestigious Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Arapaja disclosed that the meeting formed part of his ongoing political consultations ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election in Oyo State.
The former Deputy Governor described Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi as a respected leader, philanthropist, and influential stakeholder whose contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State continue to inspire many across political and social circles.
Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, while welcoming the PDP National Secretary and his entourage, appreciated the visit and emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue, unity, and collective commitment towards the progress and peaceful development of Oyo State.
Among dignitaries that accompanied Ambassador Arapaja on the visit were Mogaji Abbas Oloko and other loyalists and political associates.
