The Wike-backed faction of Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially released the names of its candidates for the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections, following the successful conduct of its primaries.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, May 19, by the party’s Organising Secretary, Hon. Stephen Olaniyi, the candidates emerged through primaries held on Sunday, May 17, across the state. He noted that the 14 candidates would represent the party in their respective federal constituencies during the forthcoming elections.



The list includes Hon. Fatola Samson Opeyemi for Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency, Afolabi Idris Olanrewaju for Oyo East/Oyo West/Atiba/Afijio, and Oyeniyi Akinloye Olusegun for Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere.
Others are Alao Elizabeth Folashade (Ido/Ibarapa East), Rasaki Haruna Abiola (Ibarapa Central/North), and Ajumobi Rotimi David (Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola).



Also on the list are Adebayo Moboluji Adedotun (Oluyole), Olusoji Olusegun Alade (Ibadan North), and Odeyemi Abisola Solome (Egbeda/Ona-Ara).

Further candidates include Akinyemi Victoria Omolara (Akinyele/Lagelu), Suleiman Abdul-Lateef Adeniran (Irepo/Olorunsogo/Orelope), and Azeez Ramota Titilope (Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West).
Rounding off the list are Akinyemi Akinkunmi Olayemi for Ibadan South East/North East and Okanlawon Ajoke Kudirat for Ogbomoso North/South/Orire Federal Constituency.
The party expressed confidence in the candidates’ capacity to secure victory at the polls, urging members and supporters to unite behind them as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
