The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Oyo South Senatorial District, Chief Aderemi Oseni, has reaffirmed the importance of grassroots engagement in strengthening the party, calling on members to intensify efforts in promoting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across communities.
Oseni made the call during a visit to the executives and members of the APC chapter at the Iso Pako Bodija Timber and Plank Market in Bodija, Ibadan, where he described the interaction as an opportunity to deepen the party’s relationship with its grassroots supporters and chart a common path for the future.
Addressing party members, Oseni highlighted what he described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration, including investments in critical infrastructure, improvements in healthcare, bold economic reforms and expanded access to higher education through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
He stressed that it was the collective responsibility of party members to take the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda to every community, saying Nigerians deserve to understand the programmes and opportunities being delivered by the Federal Government.
”Politics is at its best when it brings us closer to the people. Today’s engagement was more than a meeting; it was a family conversation where we exchanged ideas, strengthened our bond and reaffirmed our shared commitment to the growth of our great party and the development of our communities. As party faithful, we must continue to take the Renewed Hope message to the grassroots and ensure that our people understand the direction our nation is taking,” he said.
The APC chieftain expressed optimism about the future of the party in Oyo South, noting that unity, consistency and sustained engagement with the people remained the foundation for building a stronger political structure.
”I am inspired by the commitment and enthusiasm of our members. Together, we can continue to strengthen our party and position Oyo South for greater progress. I sincerely appreciate the Baale, the market leadership, the APC executives and every trader who took time out of their businesses to receive us. Their support and encouragement continue to inspire my commitment to serve with sincerity, humility and an unwavering focus on delivering meaningful progress for Oyo South and Oyo State,” Oseni added.
The meeting was attended by party executives, market leaders and traders, who pledged their continued support for the APC and its programmes aimed at advancing development and improving the welfare of the people.
