The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has stated that Governor Seyi Makinde’s birthday anniversary celebration was a reminder for the people of the state to count their blessings under his government.
He made this statement on the heels of the governor’s birthday anniversary which coincides with Christmas Day celebration on December 25.
A congratulatory message to the governor by the council boss yesterday described Makinde as a epitome of transformative leadership whose impacts continue to spread across Oyo State.
Olatunji praised Governor Makinde for his unwavering commitment to the development of Oyo State, citing landmark achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and good governance.
“Your Excellency, your birthday is a special reminder for us to count our blessings under your exemplary leadership.
“Your administration has brought progress and stability to Oyo State, and we are proud of the strides made under your guidance and mentorship.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Oluyole Local Government, I celebrate you and wish you many more years of impactful service to humanity,” the statement read.
The Chairman lauded the governor’s inclusive governance style, which he noted has ensured that every citizen of Oyo State feels the positive effects of government initiatives.
He highlighted projects such as road construction, the expansion of the economy and education sector, as well as improved and quality life as testaments to the governor’s dedication to the well-being of the people.
“Your vision and selfless service have transformed Oyo State into a model of development, not just in the South-West but across Nigeria. As we mark your 57th birthday sir, we pray for continued wisdom, strength, and good health as you lead us toward even greater achievements,” Olatunji added.
