TESCOM:Successful Candidates to Receive Employment Letters Before December
There are strong indication that intending teachers into the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission may receive their appointment letters before end of this year as Commission commences Oral interview for the applicants.
The Chairman TESCOM, Pastor Akin Alamu stated this in an interview with Olamiposi Ishola on the on going Oral interview for intending teachers in the state .
According to TESCOM Boss,the commission is working tirelessly to ensure credible teachers are employed to add more value into the education sector of the state.
Pastor Alamu reiterated that there won’t chance for any candidate who score below 50 or missed the Computer Based Test to partake in the interview.
He also disclosed that out of thousands of applicants who applied for Teaching job, only 900 candidates were qualified for the job.
Also in his remarks, The Executive Assistant to the Governor on Administration Reverend Idowu Ogedengbe described the exercise as a step towards improving the standard of education in the state.
He said Governor Seyi Makinde is passionate about bringing much needed development to the education sector through appointment of qualified Teachers.
In their Separate remarks,the Permanent Secretary TESCOM Mrs Grace Oderinde and Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers Oyo state,Comrade Samson Adedoyin said the oral interview for intending teachers became necessary so as to rejig the education system of the state.
