Oyo Assembly Observes First Reading of N266 Billion 2021 Budget
The Oyo state house of assembly, on Tuesday, observed the first reading of a bill for the finance of the appropriation bill, 2021 to the tune of Two Hundred and Sixty-Six Billion, Six Hundred and Forty-Four Million, Two Hundred and Seventy-Three Thousand, Three Hundred and Five Naira, Four kobos from the consolidated revenue of Oyo state in the year ending 31st day of December 2021.
The House also considered the first reading of a bill for the appropriation of Two Hundred and Sixty-Six Billion, Six Hundred and Forty-Four Million, Two Hundred and Seventy-Three Thousand, Three Hundred and Five Naira, Four kobos only, being One Hundred and Thirty-Six Billion, Two Hundred and Sixty-Two Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety Thousand, and Nine Naira, Forty-One Kobo as recurrent expenditure. And One Hundred and Thirty Billion, Three Hundred and Eighty-One Million, Two Hundred and Eighty-Three Thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety-Five Naira, Sixty-Three Kobo for capital expenditure for the services of Oyo state in the year ending on the 31st day of December 2021.
Similarly, the house considered the second reading of a bill for a law to establish the Oyo state market leaders’ council and other matters connected therewith.
The assembly also observed the third reading, child sexual offenses bill, 2020 and local government staff (pension funds bill), 2020.
