Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has embarked on a visit to Ibarapa zone. The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Taiwo Adisa had said the Governor will tour the zone when all the security reports and situations would have been concluded and assessed.
GOALPOACHER NEWS correspondent can confidently report that Governor Makinde will arrive Ibarapa any moment from now.
Further investigation revealed that the Governor will be meeting different stakeholders from the zone while lasting solutions will be proffered to restore peace and tranquility to the zone.
Recall, tension has been heightened in Igangan and the entire Ibarapa zone following the gruesome murder of some indigenes and residents of the zone as well as kidnapping of farmers by Fulani herdsmen which led to the eviction of the Seriki Fulani of Igangan.
