The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi has been decorated with yet another meritorious award dubbed ‘The Rising Star Award’ presented during the just concluded Oyo State Women Entrepreneurship Summit organized by the ARA Foundation.
The award, given only to distinguished personalities who has over the years exhibited great capacity ‘with unimaginable potential to make global impacts’ and in ‘appreciation and recognition of his unalloyed commitment to community and national developments of women’ was presented at the popular Jogor Center in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
Receiving the award on behalf of the OYRTMA Boss, Mr. Fatai Olugbade Omolade, Special Assistant on Media and Strategic Communications to the Executive Chairman, thanked the organizers of the event for counting Dr. Fagbemi worthy of the highly prestigious and well coveted award.
In his words, “Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi holds this award in high esteem and sees it as a further thrust that’ll spur him to do more for humanity. He sends his great appreciation to the Organizers of the event particularly Hon. Aderonke Adedoja for her visionary and exemplary leadership style and dedication to the well-being of the most vulnerable in the society especially women and children. In same vein, he dedicated the award to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State for given him the opportunity and support to make impacts on a larger scale through his privileged appointment as Executive Chairman, OYRTMA ”.
