The Peoples Democratic Party Chairmanship candidate for Ibadan North Local Government, Hon Yusuff Shaib Oladayo on Tuesday urged all muslim ummah in Oyo State to seek forgiveness from Allah as Ramadan commences.
Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo popularly known as Agba Egbe stated this in a message made available through his media team to journalists in Ibadan, urged Muslims to seize the once-in-a-year opportunity to get close to God spiritually and seek His favour and relief from the myriad of problems that have become a clog in the wheel of our progress and development as a state.
He said, “I congratulate Muslims in my local government (IBADAN NORTH) and the State as a whole for witnessing, yet again, the commencement of fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan.
“I urge Muslims to seize the once-in-a-year opportunity to get close to God spiritually and seek His favour and relief from the myriad of problems that have become a clog in the wheel of our progress and development as a state.
In the same vain the Chairmanship candidate also used this medium to commiserates with the Iso Pako Market Fire inferno which occured last night in Bodija
Urging Members of the public to be at extra careful in handling electrical appliance’s and avoid burning of objects in areas as such , to avoid future occurances
He commended the state department of fire service for its timely intervention that prevented further spread of the fire and damage to the market,” Agba Egbe said .
