The Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Youth and Sports, Hon Kazeem Bolarinwa on Monday was honoured with awards of leadership and excellence for his satisfactory performance as the aide of the governor on youths related matter and more importantly, as he led the Environmental Taskforce Team set up by the Governor some months ago which is in line with his ‘clean and green environment.
According to the leadership of Agbeni Market men and women and youth association, the award was premised on the fact that the Governor’s long-standing support for Agbeni Market and it environs in ensuring cleaner and greener environment which was successfully executed by the taskforce headed by Kazeem Bolarinwa.
The group further said the meritorious award was in recognition of his “groundbreaking” performance as the city of Ibadan has become clean which is now testament to the urban renewal initiative of this administration. In addition, Bolarinwa has also embarked on different youth empowerment programmes, Skills acquisition as well as promotion of peace and security among the youths and human capital development which have altogether created new lease of life the youths and aged.
In his remarks, Kazeem Bolarinwa reassured the leadership of the market the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde to ensure better life for all and sundries. He urged the traders to keep supporting the present administration to be able to actualize all the good policies of the Governor.
Similarly youth wing of the association also pledged their unalloyed support for the ‘Omituntun’ administration and promised not to indulge in any unlawful activities that are inimical to the success of the present administration.
