The National Association of University Students (NAUS), on Thursday honoured the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Student Affairs, Hon Victor Olojede with award of Excellence in recognition of his contribution to Students’ community in Southwest, Nigeria.
The award ceremony was held at the University of Ibadan.
Speaking on why Hon Victor Olojede was nominated for the award, the students’ body said since the appointment of Victor Olojede, he has been able to bridge the gap between the students loving Governor, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde and the students’ community in Oyo State. He added that Victor’s appointment as a young lad is a square peg in a square hole.
In his remarks, the Governor’s aide thanked the students’ body for the honour and promised not to rest on his oars.
Olojede urged the students on the need to learn from the leadership style of Governor Seyi and also follow his footsteps.
