The Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Prince Adeyemi Arowosaye popularly called (AROSAD), on Friday, paid a condolence visit to the families of Abiola Kamorudeen and Bello Adijat.
The duo were officers of the Oyo State Security Network (Amotekun) before their untimely death while in active service.
AROSAD, while commiserating with families of the officers, said it was very pathetic for people to die in active service and at a very tender age.
The Chairman was quoted as saying: “We are saddened by the development. It is quite unfortunate that they died while going about their professional duty diligently.”
“We are grateful for their bravery, courage and tremendous sacrifices to the good people of Oyo East Local Government Area. I assured the families that they will receive all their entitlements. We prayed for the peaceful repose of their souls,” He concluded.
