PHOTOS: Oyo PMS Chair, Tommy Bags United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador Award
The Chairman Oyo State Park Management System, PMS, Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa has been decorated and with the award of Eminent Peace Ambassador.
This was in recognition of his peace initiative his leadership has been able to sustain since he was appointed by the Executive Governor of Oyo State in June.
Tommy presented the award by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (United Nations Peace Volunteers) at an event held at Jogor Centre, Ibadan.
In his remarks, the PMS chairman described the award as landmark achievement for him personally and the entire management of Oyo State Park management system.
Tommy added that he will never derail from the mandate given to him by His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that the era of thuggery, intimidation and brigandage will never reoccur during his tenure.
Earlier today, I was nominated and awarded Eminent Peace Ambassador by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (United Nations Peace Volunteers) at Jogor Center, Ibadan.
Personally, this is landmark achievement for myself and the entire Oyo State Park Management System. All glory returned to Almighty Allah. And special thanks to the Oyo State PMS Executives and members as well.
My tenure is a period of peace and tranquillity that will always emphasize the welfare of the Oyo State Citizens first. I promise to try everything within my power to continue towards this goal.
