In a monumental stride towards enhancing healthcare accessibility and reliability, the Ministry of Energy and mineral resources in Oyo State is revolutionizing primary health centers across the state by outfitting them with solar energy solutions.

This transformative initiative comes as a beacon of hope for communities reliant on these vital healthcare facilities, promising to alleviate the burden of power interruptions and ensure a consistent power supply for essential medical services.

It is a testament to the state’s commitment to progress that nearly 30 primary health centers already bask in the glow of solar lights, marking a significant milestone in the journey towards sustainable healthcare infrastructure.

This expansion of solar-powered facilities underscores a concerted effort to address longstanding challenges associated with power reliability, ultimately bolstering the quality of care provided to residents.

One such success story is the Ajia Primary Health Center, which once grappled with the debilitating effects of power interruptions.

Thanks to the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and the diligent oversight of Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Barrister Seun Ashamu, Ajia Primary Health Center now stands as a shining example of the transformative impact of solar energy.

This remarkable transformation serves as a testament to the tangible benefits that solar solutions can bring to healthcare delivery.

As the momentum continues to build, Governor Seyi Makinde remains steadfast in his commitment to extending this transformative initiative to every primary health center across the state.

With unwavering determination and visionary leadership, Governor Makinde has reaffirmed his pledge to ensure that no primary health center is left in the dark.

Under the dedicated supervision of Commissioner Seun Ashamu, plans are underway to ensure that all primary health centers, regardless of location, will be transformed with solar energy.

Indeed, the future looks bright for healthcare in Oyo State as solar lights illuminate the path towards accessible and reliable medical services.

With each primary health center that undergoes transformation, the state moves closer to its goal of providing equitable healthcare for all residents.

Through the collective efforts of government officials, healthcare workers, and community members, Oyo State emerges as a beacon of progress and innovation in the quest for a healthier future.
