A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Otunba Olusina John Ogunsola has urged his supporters and members of the party to support and vote massively for the party’s chairmanship candidate, Engr Akeem Olatunji.
Before now, Otunba Ogunsola had donated the sum of N500, 000 (five hundred thousand naira) to Olatunji’s campaign train that accompanied when the PDP candidate came to ward 3 about two weeks ago. He promised to donate about 150 campaign shirts to the PDP candidate’s team on Tuesday (tomorrow).
Some members of the campaign team were ward chairmen among others.
The philanthropist expressed confidence in Olatunji’s ability in winning the election slated for 27th April, 2024.
Ogunsola told his supporters that he and Akeem are brothers and stand united in ensuring that the party’s candidate emerge victorious.
He added that their overall boss and Governor Seyi Makinde’s ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro had already settled the rancour among the PDP House of Representatives’ aspirants stating that the mandate given to them is to work together to ensure the party becomes victorious in the April election.
Otunba Olusina John Ogunsola, however urged Oluyole residents not to make the mistake of electing a candidate who is not vastly experienced in the areas of wealth creation, empowerment, revenue generation and infrastructure at the grassroot like Akeem Olatunji.
