PDP Chieftain and Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor or Federal Constituency Matters, Dare Adeleke has stated that Governor Seyi Makinde remains the governor to beat.

Adeleke said this in a congratulatory message to the governor on his Award by Leadership Newspaper as the Governor of the Year.

The former Pacesetters Transport boss noted that: “Seyi Makinde embodies all the qualities of a leader with his focussed and unique leadership style which is people oriented. His Excellency has always put the people first and all his policies are geared towards a better life, human security and environmental safety. He has spared nothing in ensuring that the state hastened in development and has not only caught up with those that were ahead in but has overtaken them.

“It is a well known fact that once governors are re-elected, they mostly go to sleep but His Excellency and our leader has in the past months since being sworn in as governor, doubled his pace and progress is being witnessed everywhere with accelerated speed”.

Adeleke congratulated the governor on the revered award, saying that “Seyi Makinde remains the governor to beat”.

“I congratulate His Excellency on this most honourable award. He who the cap fits has won it. On behalf of myself and my family, I wish our governor, Egnr. Seyi Makinde more grace, many more feathers on his gracious cap, God’s protection and continued wisdom.” He said.
