Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, the Oyo State ADC Governorship Candidate for the 2027 election, has pledged to transform Agbowo Shopping Complex into an ICT hub and computer village if elected governor.

He made the pledge on Monday during a consultative engagement with the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) at the NIA Secretariat, Ikolaba, Ibadan.

Responding to questions from professionals, Olooye Adegoke explained that the complex’s location makes it particularly suitable for a technology and computer business centre, providing Ibadan with a dedicated destination for such activities.

While elaborating on his SOLUTIONS 2027 agenda, he reaffirmed his commitment to involving professionals in governance, stressing that openness and professional expertise are essential to accountability and effective public administration.

Earlier, APBN Chairman, Dr Samuel Olaloye Esanju, FCNA, FCE, ACCrFA, commended Olooye Adegoke for his punctuality, describing it as a demonstration of respect for the professionals’ time and a positive indication of personal integrity.
Esanju emphasised that, if elected, Adegoke must translate his private-sector experience and “Mr Solutions” philosophy into good governance and remain accountable to the people.
The engagement forms part of Olooye Adegoke’s continuing consultations with professional organisations and other stakeholders, with issue-based discussions remaining central to his campaign.
In his remarks, the association’s Secretary, Builder Olugbade, clarified that APBN would extend similar opportunities to other candidates. He stressed that the association would not endorse any candidate, as the platform was intended solely for consultation and constructive engagement.
