The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC, on Friday, 10th May 2024 issued Certificate of Return to all candidates that were elected at the April 27 local government elections at the State office, Agodi Ibadan.
The Akinyele Local Government Chairman-elect, Hon Wole Akinleye who polled Sixty Six Thousand Three Hundred and Twenty Five votes(66, 325) to defeat his closest rival collected his Certificate of Return alongside his vice, Hon Sakiru Akintunde at the OYSIEC State Office Agodi gate Ibadan.
The elected councilors,the campaign council, party leaders and stakeholders, party faithfuls and other well wishers who were in enthusiastic mood thronged OYSIEC office to felicitate with the chairman elect, Hon Wole Akinleye.
The people who were in joyous mood expressed trust and believe in Hon Wole Akinleye to steer Akinyele Local Government to its desired destination.
