The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission has presented the Certificate of Returns to all the elected Local Government Chairmen in the just concluded elections.
Just like the other council Chairmen-elect, congratulatory messages continue to pour in specially for the winner of Iwajowa Local Government Chairmanship Election across all media spaces to wish him a successful tenure in office.
Immediately after the presentation the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Bayo Lawal received all the Oke-Ogun Zone Chairmen in his office and encouraged them to remain united with other zones because no bird can fly successfully with one feather.
His Excellency, the Deputy Governor also charged all of them to be very loyal to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State – that he is a man loaded with lots of development agenda for this State.
As always, a one time Executive Chairman of Iwajowa Local Government and a leader with so much interest in the growth and development of his area, Asiwaju Barr. John Adeniyi Farinto while congratulating Hon. Muritala Abiodun Oyewumi and other Chairmen from Oke-Ogun axis admonished all of them to strive relentlessly for the infrastructural upgrade of their various Councils in line with developmental agenda of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde – that that is the only legacy to be bequeathed as a successful Chairman.
Meanwhile, the leaders of our dear Party at home, Alhaji Kazeem Olatunji, Hon. Timothy Olalekan Bolarinwa, Alhaji Chief Sakariyau Kareem, Elder Job Adewuyi, Chief Michael Adedokun Adegbite, Alhaji Kazeem Temideni also prayed for Divine wisdom just like that of King Solomon in the Bible for Hon. Muritala to run a successful administration in Iwajowa Local Government.
