The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda Oyedele (Lajuee) has celebrated with muslims in his council, Oyo State and the nation at large on the occasion of this year’s Maolud Nabiyy which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Alhaji Sanda urged muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet and relevance in today’s world.
He emphasized the virtues of peace, love and tolerance as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) throughout his lifetime.
The council boss also used the opportunity to call for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians regardless of their religious beliefs or ethnic background.
Hon Sanda wished all muslims across the globe, happy Maolud Nabiyy celebration and prayed for peace, prosperity and unity in Nigeria.
