The chairman of Oyo State Hospitals’ Management Board,Dr Akin Fagbemi was on an official visit to General Hospital,Moniya in Akinyele Local Govt ares for inspection and commissioning of hospital equipments(Ultra sound Machine and Electro Cardiogram Machine) to complement the effort of his excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde in bringing good and qualitative health care services to the door step of every citizen in the state.
The equipment was donated to the General Hospital Moniya by Oyo State Health Insurance Agency(OYSHIA) under the leadership of its Executive Secretary,Pastor Akande for the treatment of patients who are coming for consultation.
The chairman commended the staff of the hospital for their prompt action to the customers(Patients) and for living up to the expectation despite attending to large number of patients as at the time of visit.
Dr Fagbemi in his usual character donated the sum of Twenty thousand naira for treatment of a sick boy who is in need of blood for his recovery.He also gave the sum of Ten thousand naira each for 6 new born babies at the children’s ward in the hospital.
Among the department visited during the inspection are Male and Female wards, Physiotherapy, Laboratory, Theatre,Labour Room,Ante natal,ward,dental department and so on.
On the entourage with the chairman Dr Akin Fagbemi were Permanent Secretary, Dr Anifat Ibraheem, the Director of Medical Services, Dr Femi Adesanya, Director of Admin and Supplies Mr Muyiwa Olagoke, Director of Personnel Alhaji Jamiu Busari,the Director of Accounts and Finance Alhaji Tanimowo A.K and the Director of Maintenance and Biomedical Engineering services,Engr Oluwaseun Ojelabi.
