    Wife of Egbeda LG Chair Organizes Medical Outreach for Residents

    In a renewed effort to promote women’s well-being and community health, the Wife of the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Mrs. Monsurat Abiola Sanda, has organized a Women/Health Medical Outreach and Health Talk for residents of the council area.

    The impactful programme featured free medical check-ups, health screenings, professional consultations, and enlightening sessions centered on preventive healthcare, maternal health, nutrition, and overall wellness. Women from various communities across Egbeda Local Government benefitted from expert medical advice and access to essential healthcare services.

    Speaking at the event, Mrs. Sanda stressed the need to prioritize women’s health as a critical foundation for strong families and a thriving society. She reaffirmed her commitment to championing initiatives that promote the health and welfare of women within the local government.

    Also addressing participants, Dr. Oyedare Elizabeth of the Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC), Egbeda Local Government, highlighted the importance of routine medical check-ups and early detection of common health conditions.

    In her presentation, Mrs. Oladepo Oladunni educated attendees on healthy eating habits and the value of balanced nutrition in maintaining overall well-being.

    In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, commended Mrs. Monsurat Abiola Sanda for her dedication to advancing community health.

    He also applauded residents for their impressive turnout and active participation, describing the initiative as a laudable step toward strengthening preventive healthcare and expanding access to medical services at the grassroots level.

    He encouraged residents to continually take advantage of such impactful programmes aimed at improving their quality of life.

    The outreach further demonstrated Egbeda Local Government’s sustained commitment to community development, health awareness, and women’s empowerment.

Abass, Wife of the Babaloja General of Oyo State; Mrs. Oluokun (Oyo East LG); Mrs. Eunice Oyedokun (Ogbomosho South LG); Deaconess Olubunmi Kolapo (Ona Ara); Mrs. Balqeez Olatunji, Chairperson, Oluyole LG; Heads of Departments and their deputies; the Wife of the Vice Chairman, Egbeda LG; Mrs. Idowu Oladebo Simple; Supervisor for Women Affairs, Hon. Balikis; Wives of Councillors; PDP Egbeda Women Leaders; NCWS; FOMWAN; CDC representatives; market women; orphanage homes; NGOs; and members of the Egbeda Medical Team.
