    Ibarapakan Delivers Two Transformers to Igboora, Four Others Underway

    Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has fulfilled his recent pledge by delivering two transformers to Igboora, the headquarters of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Oyo State as a follow-up action to his December 4, 2024, press statement announcing plans to continue addressing the persistent power supply issues in the constituency.

    The lawmaker had committed to facilitating the installation of six transformers across the constituency, starting with the delivery of two to Igboora in December. As usual of his track record of keeping his promises, within 48 hours, Hon. Adepoju’s efforts were met with an outpouring of gratitude, prayers and commendations from the entire community.


    Community leaders, including Hon. Remi Ayoade, Hon. Adetona, Hon. Saubana Oladokun and Mr. Olatunji, guided the distribution team to designated locations in Igboora on Friday. The two transformers were delivered to Ogboja Area and Police Secondary School axis of Igboora.

    Residents and leaders in the two communities expressed appreciation, commending the lawmaker for his proactive leadership and prayed for his continued success and good health.

    Commenting on the development, Hon. Adepoju extended his gratitude to the entire constituents for their support. He reassured the remaining four communities that their transformers would be delivered soon, reiterating his commitment to tackling the region’s electricity challenges.

    He emphasized the importance of collective efforts in improving power supply for economic development and enhanced living standards across the federal constituency.
