The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Chairman of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State, Hon Sikiru Sanda has charged students of Premier College of Health Technology, Badeku, Ibadan to shun unethical behaviours that can jeopardize the future.

Hon Sanda gave the admonition on Thursday at the first matriculation ceremony of the College.

He advised the matriculating students to be good ambassadors of their institution and not allowed to be influenced by bad friends so as to avoid being rusticated from the college.

The chairman appreciated the Provost and Proprietor of the Premier College of Health Technology, Dr. Kayode Afolabi for using his discretion and initiative to deem it fit to establish such prestigious college in Ibadan.

He stressed that, “Although many are called but few were chosen and besides your chosen course is one of the lucrative courses in labour market”

The council boss also implored the parents of the matriculating students not to relent in putting them through by given them proper monitoring because being admitted in tertiary institution does not guarantee their total freedom. He later wished the matriculating students success in their future endeavours.

Amongst the chairman’s entourage to the occasion were the honourable leader of the house, Egbeda local government, Hon. Olusola Olakanmi, super for Youths and Sports, Super for Education, Hon. Gbolagade, Director of Finance, Alhaji Hameed, Director of Administration, Mrs M.O Adekunle, Internal Auditor and Mr. Adegboyega.
