Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on the occasion of his birthday.
The Oyo Assembly Speaker, who also doubles as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, turns 38 on Monday, February 17, 2025.
In his congratulatory text, Hon. Adepoju praised Ogundoyin’s compelling leadership style in keeping the Oyo Assembly together since 2019 through impactful legislation that has resulted in the development of the pacesetter state.
The federal lawmaker also acknowledged how the Oyo Assembly under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Adebo has significantly advanced the policies and programmes of His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, in the last five years.
He expressed that Hon. Adebo is a product of youth inclusion in governance, the privilege he said he leveraged to achieve even bigger positions through the bye-election that produced him almost 8 years ago.
Wishing the Ibarapa-born lawmaker more political accomplishments and renewed strength on his birthday, Hon. Adepoju urged the youth to continue to aim higher in their respective career paths.
