The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has sent goodwill to all Muslim Ummah at the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, describing Ramadan as “a period of spiritual growth and empowerment.”
Ambassador Arapaja, in a statement he personally issued but made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim in Ibadan said “Ramadan is a period to seek the face of God and pray for divine mercy, favour and grace of Allah ”
According to the statement, “I join all Muslim faithfuls In Nigeria and Oyo State to welcome the Ramadan 2025; a blessed month reknown as month of revival, forgiveness and mercy from the Almighty Allah”. May Allah lift evil from everyone, honour us with Lailat al -Qudr, and make us happy forever “. Ameen.
“As we embark on this spiritual journey, I beseech all believers in Oyo state to use the period to pray for divine guidance for good governance and transformation under the leadership of our Governor, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde.
I equally call on well meaning Nigerians to display act of love towards the needy in this season and beyond. May the Almighty God bless us all and answer our prayers and supplications. ” Arapaja said.
