    Oyo Speaker, Ogundoyin Embarks on Working Visit to Ibarapa East Constituency

    The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has concluded a working visit to his constituency in Ibarapa East Local Government, where he assessed the progress of some ongoing projects.

    The visit was aimed at determining the next steps to ensure the projects are completed efficiently and effectively, inorder to bring benefits to the community.

    During the visit, the Speaker inspected several key sites, including the Cashew Plantation at New Eruwa, Ipin Bridge Construction site, which is nearing completion.


    “I was at the Cashew Plantation at New Eruwa, and I got some briefing from some stakeholders. Work on the Ipin Bridge is at an advanced stage, and this is a good development. The bridge will greatly improve connectivity in our community.”

    The Speaker also paid a visit to the Eruwa General Hospital, ahead of the State government’s plan to upgrade the health facility.

    “In line with our administration’s resolve to continuously improve health facilities across the State, we are looking at possible upgrade and expansion of the General Hospital for optimal performance and enhanced service delivery.”

    Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin was equally at Eruwa palace to assess the state and condition of the ancient heritage.

    The Speaker hinted at the possibility of a total upgrade.

    As part of his visit, the Speaker paid homage to the new Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola, where he discussed the town’s development with the traditional ruler

    Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin also inspected his ongoing block of classrooms School project at Temidire to assess the level of work and ensure its completion.

    Additionally, he inspected Ido-Eruwa road project, and assured that reconstruction work would commence on the road soon

    The Speaker who expressed his commitment to ensuring that these projects are completed efficiently and effectively added that the visit was the first part as the second part would be Lanlate town

    “My next working visit will be to Lanlate, and this will afford us the opportunity to have a tour of the town, and meet with prominent stakeholders.”

    He thanked the Chairman of Eruwa Elders Council, Chief Joseph Peluola, and the Eruwa Youth Movement, led by Comrade Tijani Kazeem, for joining him on the visit.

    “The working visit provided an opportunity for me to assess some ongoing projects in my constituency in order to ensure that the needs of my constituents are met.” Oyo Speaker said
