The Olasole of Lasole Kingdom, HRM, Oba Jacob Olutayo Fadairo 1, has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his successful hosting of the recent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum in Ibadan.
The event brought together key political figures from across the nation, focusing on collaboration and the future of the party.
In a statement reflecting on the significance of the gathering, Oba Olutayo remarked, “This gathering is pivotal for fostering collaboration and ensuring that the needs of our people are at the forefront of our agenda.”

Olasole, who was the immediate-past Executive Secretary of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), pledged his unwavering support for Governor Makinde’s future ambitions, recognising the vital role that traditional leadership plays in the political landscape.
“As traditional rulers, we have a responsibility to guide and support our leaders,” he noted, highlighting the need for collaboration between traditional institutions and government.
Oba Olutayo expressed confidence in Makinde’s vision for Oyo State, stating, “I believe that under his guidance, for the state will continue to flourish.”
