The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DAKA Foundation, Dr. Kazeem Adesina Abidikugu popularly known as KSO has saluted Nigeria Workers for their perseverance in the face of the current hardship facing the Nation.

He said all true lover of Nigeria must salute the workers for their dedication and loyalty to the country despite the hardship they are currently facing.

Every year on May 1, people across the globe observe International Labour Day, also known as International Workers’ Day to honour the contributions of workers and commemorate their long-standing struggles for fair treatment, better wages, and safer working conditions.

Abidikugu who is a United Kingdom based Psychiatric Consultant in a statement he personally signed to mark this year’s Labour Day described workers as the life-blood and driving force of the nation’s growth in view of their invaluable contributions.

He lauded the resilience and commitment of workers in both the formal and informal sector, describing their contribution to the nation and the economy as priceless.

“As we mark this year’s Workers’ Day, all Nigerian workers should be proud that their significant contributions keep this nation moving forward as they are the lifeblood of our country, an integral part of the fabric that makes up our society,” he said.

He urged them to continue to give their best towards the progress and growth of the state.

Abidikugu call on the governments at all level to put the interest of the workers in the front burner.

He also commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for being a labour-friendly governor, saying the harmonious working relations between the governor and the labour union in the state has led to progress and development.

He further said in the statement that the workers should have a joyful celebration and that they should keep on supporting the political leaders as according to him the country will bounce back to its envious position not only in Africa but in the World.
