The Chairman of Ilaji Hotel and Sports, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS), has significantly impacted the local community by distributing 4.5 million eggs to traders and marketers across Oyo State.

The initiative according to him, is aimed to support local businesses ahead of the festive Eid-al-Adha season.

The gesture reflected Sanusi’s deep commitment to the welfare of the people.

During the event, Sanusi stated, “I believe that supporting our local traders is essential for our community’s growth. These eggs will help provide for families and strengthen our markets.”

He further emphasised, “It is my responsibility to ensure that food is accessible, especially during festive times. Together, we can overcome the challenges we face.”

Sanusi donated the crates of eggs, which were allocated based on market size, with many traders receiving 30 or more crates for redistribution. His efforts have been met with widespread appreciation, highlighting the positive influence of his philanthropic initiatives.

Sanusi wished them success in overcoming their challenges, stating, “I encourage all of you to keep pushing forward. Together, we can achieve great things.”

Iyaloja Saratu Aduke Konibaje oversaw the distribution and commended Sanusi for his ongoing support. “We are grateful for Chief Sanusi’s generosity. His contributions make a real difference in the lives of our traders.”

Konibaje echoed the sentiment, praying for Sanusi’s continued success and expressing gratitude for his contributions.

Traders were seen enthusiastically loading their crates into taxis and tricycles for delivery to their respective markets.
