The Allied Peoples Movement, APM, has taken another major step towards the 2027 general elections with the commissioning of its presidential campaign headquarters in Abuja, an event that has been described as a significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the elections.
Reacting to the development, the APM candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, congratulated the party’s presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on the commissioning of the campaign headquarters.
ADLAT described the commissioning as a strong indication of the seriousness and preparedness of the APM ahead of the 2027 elections, saying the occasion has further energised party members and candidates across the country.
He said the Abuja event should mark the beginning of an even stronger mobilisation at the grassroots, urging Nigerians to support the APM and all its candidates across the various elective positions in the 2027 general elections.
According to ADLAT, the success of the party in 2027 would require Nigerians to look beyond individual candidates and support the entire APM team, from the presidential candidate to candidates contesting for legislative and other elective positions.
“Let me congratulate our leader and presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the commissioning of the APM 2027 campaign headquarters in Abuja. This is a significant milestone and a clear demonstration that we are ready for the task ahead.
“The Abuja event has given us renewed energy. Now, we must take that energy to every ward, community and constituency across Nigeria. I am calling on Nigerians to support all APM candidates in 2027. We need to work together and vote for a team that can bring the change and development our people deserve,” ADLAT said.
The Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency candidate further assured constituents of his readiness to work tirelessly for victory, saying his campaign would remain focused on effective representation, grassroots development and accountability.
He also expressed confidence in Makinde’s ability to provide purposeful leadership at the national level, urging Nigerians to give the governor and other APM candidates the opportunity to serve.
ADLAT said the 2027 election presents an important opportunity for Nigerians to make informed choices and elect leaders committed to improving the lives of citizens.
He added that the enthusiasm generated by the commissioning in Abuja would be sustained through increased grassroots engagement as the party moves towards the general elections.
The APM is expected to intensify its nationwide mobilisation following the commissioning of the campaign headquarters, with its candidates and supporters expected to take the party’s message to voters across the country.
