The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to community development, receiving the prestigious Grassroots Impact Award from the Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals, University College Hospital (UCH) Chapter.
The award was presented during a memorable award night ceremony attended by members of the union, healthcare professionals, and other dignitaries.
Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, the Chief Medical Director of UCH, presented the award on behalf of the union.
In his remarks, he emphasized that the award was conferred on Hon. Olufade in recognition of his community-focused projects that have significantly improved the welfare of residents within the UCH community.
“The Executive Chairman has demonstrated exceptional commitment to community development, impacting lives positively through his various initiatives,” Professor Otegbayo said.
He further praised Hon. Olufade as a man of vision and impact, highlighting his dedication as a young leader who places the welfare of his constituents at the forefront of his administration.
The CMD also prayed for continued success in the chairman’s tenure, wishing him more opportunities to touch lives.
Receiving the award on behalf of Hon. Olufade, his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals, UCH Chapter, for recognizing the chairman’s efforts.
He highlighted that Hon. Olufade has consistently demonstrated a commitment to addressing the needs of his community and ensuring that the welfare of the residents remains a top priority.
Yisahu described the UCH community as a vital part of the local government, noting that the chairman holds it in high regard.
He added that the award would serve as a motivation for Hon. Olufade to continue implementing impactful initiatives and inspire others to emulate his dedication to public service.
