In a strong show of unity and satisfaction with purposeful leadership, the Twelve (12) Ward Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akinyele Local Government have collectively acknowledged the remarkable developmental strides of the Executive Chairman, Hon Akinwole Akinleye, and officially endorsed him for continuity in office.

The historic endorsement, captured in a communique signed by all PDP Ward Chairmen across Wards 1 to 12 in Akinyele LG and made available by the chairman of all ward chairmen, Mr Ajani Jelili, reflects the widespread confidence reposed in his administration and the tangible impact of his governance at the grassroots.

The endorsement meeting witnessed the presence of key party stakeholders and leaders who gathered to observe the signing of the communique.

Among those present were Oyo Central Senatorial PDP Chairman, Hon Oludayo Opatokun;  Akinyele LG PDP Chairman, Alh. Salawu Babatunde Lateef; Akinyele LG PDP Secretary, Mr. Oladipupo Sunday; Akinyele LG Chief of Staff, Hon Aderinwale Abideen Adeyemi amongst others.

Their presence further underscored the significance of the moment, as the Ward Chairmen unanimously appended their signatures in affirmation of their support for continuity and consolidation of the current administration’s achievements.

In their collective position, the Ward Chairmen commended Hon Akinleye for his people oriented policies, infrastructural interventions, and inclusive leadership style which they noted have repositioned Akinyele LG on a steady path of growth and sustainable development.

They described his administration as responsive, transparent, and aligned with the progressive vision of the state government, adding that continuity would ensure the completion and expansion of ongoing projects across all wards.

Responding to the endorsement, Hon Akinwole Akinleye expressed profound gratitude to the Ward Chairmen from all 12 wards for what he described as a bold and confidence boosting step.

He assured them that he would not waver in his commitment to elevating Akinyele Local Government to greater heights by replicating the sterling leadership and good governance model of his principal, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde.

He pledged not to disappoint the party, its leaders, and the good people of Akinyele LG, promising to remain steadfast, focused, and relentless in delivering dividends of democracy to every corner of the local government.
