Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has received a fresh boost in Ogbomoso as the party continues to strengthen its grassroots mobilisation and electioneering activities across the area.
The latest support for the party comes from the Chairman, Oyo State Hospitals Management Board, OYSHMB, Hon. Adekunle Oladapo Bankole Esq, who donated two branded campaign vehicles to the APM in Ogbomoso to back the party’s mobilisation and campaign activities ahead of the elections.
Explaining the purpose of the gesture, Hon. Bankole said the vehicles were provided to strengthen the party’s campaign structure and facilitate wider grassroots engagement across Ogbomoso.
He then urged the electorate in Ogbomoso to support Governor Seyi Makinde as the party’s presidential candidate, as well as Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi, the senatorial candidate, and the party’s candidates for the House of Representatives and House of Assembly.
“I am donating these two campaign vehicles to strengthen our mobilisation efforts in Ogbomoso and ensure that our campaign activities reach more communities. We must take the message of the APM to the grassroots and engage the electorate effectively,” he said.
He further enjoined party members and supporters to work collectively towards promoting the party’s candidates, while calling on the electorate to vote for the APM candidates massively in the zone.
“I urge the people of Ogbomoso to support Seyi Makinde as our presidential candidate, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi as our governorship candidate, the senatorial, the House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates. We must work together to promote all our candidates in the 2027 elections,” Bankole added.
The vehicles were received by the APM campaign team in Ogbomoso, who appreciated Bankole for the gesture and pledged to deploy them effectively for grassroots mobilisation and campaign activities ahead of the elections.
