A suspect was reportedly arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning at Sasa community area of Akinyele Local Government following a failed attempt to kill his victim at the community.
This was disclosed to GOALPOACHER NEWS by one of the caretaker chairmen in Akinyele Local Government, he said, “having profiled the suspect, he is from Eastern part of the country, he claims he attends a white garment church.”
Another resident who was at the scene of the incident said,
“The residents of Sasa community with the help of local security popularly called (SOLUDERO) this morning arrested a suspect in Sasa area of Akinyele local government while he was trying to murder a woman.”
“While he was been interrogated, The suspect confessed that He has been involved in 8 killings recently in Akinyele local government and his last killings was at Sasa are where He murdered a lady.”
“He has so far been handed over to the Nigeria police for further investigation while work is still ongoing to fish out other perpetrators.”
Recall Barakat, Azeezat, Grace, a five-year-old boy and a woman were murdered by unknown assailants at their respective homes.
