Akinyele South LCDA Boss,Hon Ahmed Kazeem Commissions Multiple Projects in Four Communities
Assistance came the way of residents of three communities in Akinyele South LCDA as the Caretaker Chairman, Hon Ahmed Kazeem Adekunle commissioned motorized borehole projects at different communities on Thursday.
Hon Kazeem urged residents of the communities to continue to give necessary support to the administration of Engr Seyi Makinde for him to do more within the limit of resources for their benefit.
He said that it was part of his duty to provide assistance in response to the yearnings of the people, thereby complementing Governor Makinde’s efforts at making life more meaningful to the people. Places where the motorized borehole projects were commissioned include, Olufana Community, Mogaji Akekaka Community and Demilokun Community.
In another development,
in a bid to address the issue of over loading and ensure constant power supply, the chairman Akinyele South LCDA, Ahmed Kazeem Adekunle has inaugurated new transformer in Agobowo Extension of Akinyele South LCDA.
The transformer was handed to community heads at the council headquarters amidst pomp and ceremony.
Speaking during the event, Hon Kazeem noted that the gesture was to rescue community from recurrent blackout.
He said: “The purpose behind the gesture is to rescue this community from recurrent blackout being experienced over the years as a result of load shedding, which has affected businesses and productivity negatively.
Community leaders who spoke at the two separate events lauded Governor Makinde and Hon Kazeem for bringing dividends of democracy to their communities. They however used the occasion to ask for more social amenities in their communities.
The events were attended by leaders and and members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party and community leaders.
