    COVID-19:Schools in Afijio West LCDA Comply With Government Directive– Council Boss

    The caretaker chairman,Afijio West LCDA, Hon Sunday Akindele Ojo has revealed that public and private schools in his council area complied with the directive of the Oyo state government on school’s resumption.

    Akindele stated this in a chat with GOALPOACHER NEWS on Wednesday after embarking on an inspection tour to some public and private schools.


    Recall Governor Makinde had ordered schools to reopen on Monday with strict adherence to the state COVID-19 Task Force guidelines.

     

    The Council boss expressed satisfaction at the measures put in place by the schools’ management. He said,
    “In all the schools I inspected, washing hand tools were placed at strategic points, students were seen wearing their face masks while 20 students were allowed in a class.” He concludes.

    Hon Akindele was accompanied by the council super for Education Oladeji, HLGA, Director for Education, Deputy Director and others.

    The team visited First Baptist Primary School ILora 1,2and 3. L A primary school 1&2 Odo-Aro,Ibukun Olu primary school and Ifeniyi Primary School.
