On my desk, I don’t react to rumours.
But when a rumour becomes hypothetical and when the monger climbs on the rostrum to pontificate, I see the need to place documents in their correct trays. It is with this mind I placed the pen onto papers to put the records straight.
That Otunba JAF is the last man standing for His Excellency, Egnr Seyi Makinde, the Presidential Candidate of the APM who is also the incumbent Governor of Oyo state is no news.
That Otunba Joseph Adeseye Famojuro could contest the Osun State Guber election in 2030, God willing, is not a rumour but a possibility, a hypothesis.
Otunba Adeseye Famojuro is as qualified as any Osun state indigene for the state numero office. Aside from paper qualifications that have no semblance with the controversial #ChicagoFraud, he is a registered voter in Osun state. Unlike this other #Obokun brother who is registered in Osun but wants to dip his fingers in the cake here in Oyo state.

Governor Seyi Makinde has performed brilliantly well in Oyo state. Otunba Seye, even without an official appointment, has been actively involved in Seyi’s good administration, Seye has his tutorial under an excellent guru. Therefore, without being immodest, Seye is better prepared than all these candidates in diaspora jostling for the 2030 ticket.
Seye has a feasible invisibility aura; if only you know what that means.
Adeseye Famojuro is a young man in the right lane who is not greedy nor covetous. We have all read about a popular Chief of Staff who demanded bribes from a DG of a phantom Agency. No appointee nor government contractor could accuse Seye of ill treatment or corruption.
As powerful as Seye is behind the scene, he remains a buffer and the one who reminds His Excellency, Egnr Seyi Makinde, of his campaign promises. Seye also ensures that the promises are fulfilled before the expiration of Seyi’s administration.
Architect Adeseye Famojuro is a role model and behavioral compass for the GenZ in politics: those that intend to serve their communities well. Seye is an embodiment of humility, not overbearing and always settles for the best.
That Seye Famojuro is very humble to anything Seyi Makinde doesn’t make him an errand boy as some loud mouthed politicians would want us to believe. Visit the Omititun House, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
As far back as 2013, Seye declared open that Omititun mansion. Was he an errand boy then? Therefore, don’t be deceived to believe that Otunba Seye Famojuro doesn’t have the financial vault to superintend his political campaigns in 2030.
If Otunba Seye decides to contest for the Osun State Guber in 2030, God spares our lives, nothing could stop him. He has grown to become a political train with a noise and smoke muffler.
Finally, as to the political platform: you can be rest assured that Seye is a gold fish and would prefer contesting on a popular and acceptable platform. The Accord party you mentioned was not known till 2015 when Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja contested under the Accord. The APM is now a national political association for obvious reasons. “Omo aja ti kuro ni last year’s price.”
