The Executive Chairman, OYRTMA, Mogaji (Dr.) Akin Fagbemi moments ago met with his brother and friend, the new Oyo State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Dr. Idowu Oyeleke.
They discussed primarily on how best to further enhance collaborative efforts between OYRTMA and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Whilst the Hon. Commissioner greatly appreciates the immense works by men and officers of the Authority, he expressed readiness to look inwards for better ways to coordinate synergy between the Ministry and the Authority particularly as the duo shares a similar and inextricably bound roles and responsibilities.
He underscored the tremendous roles OYRTMA is playing in helping to actualize the Governor Seyi Makinde’s strategic ‘Roadmap to Accelerated Development 2019-2023’ for the betterment of Oyo State and her beautiful people.
They seized the occasion to offer a minute silence to the deceased immediate past Commissioner of the Ministry, Rt. Hon. Kehinde Ayoola who died recently after a brief illness.
