The Secretary General of Yoruba Council of Elders YCE, Dr Kunle Olajide has berrated State Governors across the country for the various security challenges facing the country.
He made the declaration in Ibadan while featuring on a private Television personality interview, Oju Abe on Kay International Television with Kayode Bamiduro.
The Medical practitioner said if State Governors were sincere enough and spend forty percent of their huge monthly security votes to address the challenges, the entire country would experience peace, but he regretted that the governors have failed in their responsibilities in this area.
Dr Kunle Olajide then cautioned the citizens to stop blaming President Mohammadu Buhari for the lapses of their various elected Governors.
He however, called for total restructuring of the country to allow States who are countributing wealth to the center to benefit more from resources coming from their States, adding that only this could guarantee Nigeria staying together as one Nation.
