The Chairman, Agency for Adult and Non-Formal Education (AANFE), Hon Ayo Olopoenia, has praised Governor Seyi Makinde’s six years in office, highlighting significant achievements in education and community development.
In statement, Olopoenia remarked, “Governor Makinde has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing education in our state. His policies have not only enhanced formal education but have also empowered adults through non-formal learning initiatives.”
He elaborated on the transformative impact of these programmes, saying, “Under his leadership, we have seen a remarkable increase in enrollment in adult education programmes. This has opened doors for many who previously lacked access to learning opportunities.”
Olopoenia also emphasised the importance of community involvement in these initiatives, noting, “The Governor has fostered a culture of inclusivity, ensuring that education is accessible to everyone, regardless of their background.”
Reflecting on the overall governance, he stated, “The achievements we celebrate today are a testament to the Governor’s vision and dedication.
His focus on education as a tool for empowerment has laid a solid foundation for a brighter future for our citizens.”
Olopenia reiterated the agency’s commitment to supporting Makinde’s vision in expanding educational opportunities across Oyo State, saying, “Together, we can build an educated and empowered populace, ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow.”
