A prominent Mogaji of Ibadanland, Chief Abass Oloko, has praised Zacch Adedeji for what he described as a remarkable wave of achievements, headlined by the historic completion of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) headquarters after 22 years of delay.

‎Oloko said the delivery of the long-abandoned headquarters stands as a powerful symbol of decisive leadership and a clear departure from years of unfulfilled promises.

‎According to him, for more than two decades, the project remained stalled despite repeated attempts by previous administrations, becoming a lasting sign of institutional setbacks.

‎“Zacch Adedeji has rewritten that story,” Oloko said.

‎“By completing the NRS headquarters, he has not only delivered a building but restored confidence in public leadership. It is a legacy achievement that will stand the test of time.”

‎Chief Oloko stressed that the new headquarters represents far more than a physical structure, it embodies efficiency, coordination, and a renewed sense of purpose within Nigeria’s revenue system.

‎Beyond the landmark project, Oloko highlighted other notable strides recorded under Adedeji’s leadership.

‎He pointed to ongoing reforms aimed at modernising tax administration, including the adoption of digital systems to improve revenue collection, enhance transparency, and reduce leakages.

‎According to him, Adedeji has also strengthened institutional discipline within the NRS, improved stakeholder engagement, and introduced measures that are making the agency more responsive and performance-driven.

‎“What we are witnessing is a complete transformation,” Oloko added.

‎“From infrastructure to policy direction and operational efficiency, Adedeji is laying a solid foundation for a stronger and more effective revenue institution.”

‎He further noted that Adedeji’s leadership has inspired renewed confidence among both public and private sector stakeholders, positioning the NRS to play a more strategic role in Nigeria’s economic development.

‎“He is improving systems, strengthening capacity, and setting new standards for accountability in public service.”

‎Oloko concluded by describing Adedeji’s leadership style as impactful and forward-looking, expressing optimism that the reforms being implemented will significantly boost Nigeria’s fiscal stability and long-term growth.
