A prominent Ibadan traditional chief, Mogaji Abass Oloko, has reacted to a viral video released by TikTok commentator, King Alijudah TVC, popularly known by his handle @kingalijudah01, describing claims linking renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi to the governorship ticket of the Accord Party as false and politically sponsored.
Mogaji Oloko’s reaction follows a trending TikTok video posted by the fictional story teller, King Alijudah TVC, in which the social media commentator alleged that leaders of the Accord Party are planning to withdraw support for popular broadcaster, Oriyomi Hamzat and hand the party’s governorship ticket to Chief Dotun Sanusi ahead of the 2027 Oyo State governorship election.
In the video, the TikTok commentator also called out the National Secretary of the party, Dr. Mrs. Adebukola Abiola Ajaja, while urging party leaders not to make such a move.
However, speaking on the development, Mogaji Abass Oloko dismissed the video as a calculated attempt to drag the name of Chief Dotun Sanusi into unnecessary political controversy.
He stated that the Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort is not interested in the Accord Party governorship ticket or any desperate political arrangement as being insinuated in the viral clip.
According to Oloko, Chief Sanusi remains a respected elder statesman, accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist whose priority has always been the growth of Oyo State through investments, youth empowerment and community development.
He stressed that the Okanlomo Oodua is widely admired for creating opportunities for young people and contributing meaningfully to society, not for engaging in political manipulation.
The Ibadan chief further warned those behind the video to desist from spreading misinformation capable of creating tension in the state’s political environment.
Oloko maintained that Chief Sanusi would never stoop so low as to induce or influence anyone to secure a governorship ticket, insisting that such claims are far from his character and values.
He urged the public to disregard the claims and focus on verified information, adding that political actors and their supporters should pursue their ambitions without dragging respected personalities into propaganda battles.
