    Acting Governor, LG Chairmen Visit Seyi Makinde at Holiday Base

    In a remarkable demonstration of unflinching loyalty and support, the acting Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal and chairmen across the 33 local governments in the state on Wednesday paid courtesy call on His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde at his holiday base.

    Recall that Governor Makinde had written a letter to the Oyo State House of Assembly to transfer power to his deputy as he embarks on his annual leave which started on Monday, 5th August, 2024.


    Details of the visit to the Governor wasn’t disclosed as the chairmen refused to disclose what was discussed.

    The chairmen were led by their  leader,  Hon Sikiru Sanda, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, Hon Lateef Akorede.

    Others on the entourage include, Hon Wole Akinleye, Hon Akeem Olatunji, Hon Seun Olufade, Hon Seun Ojo, Hon Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, Hon Olusola Adeleke, Hon Kamorudeen Mudashiru among others.
