Adeaga Resumes Office, Assures Oyo Communities of Developmental Projects

….Urges OYCSDA Staffers To Continue Support Gov Makinde’s Urbanization Programme

The newly-appointed Chairman of Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA), Hon. Abideen Adeaga has assured the people of Oyo State that his agency would work round the clock to bring succor to the residents of rural and urban communities across the State.
He said this while addressing staff members of the agency at its Conference room on Monday after officially resuming office as OYCSDA’s Chairman.
Hon. Abideen emphasized the need for the agency to strive to do more for the development of the rural and urban communities so as to relieve residents of burden of economic hardship that pervaded the country.
He promised to adopt an open-door policy in his interaction with workers of OYCSDA as envisioned by the current administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, so as to be able to achieve maximum delivery at the workplace and growth in Oyo State.
“I’m conversant with the activities of OYCSDA from the past so I know how things are going.
“I have not come to make life difficult for anyone nor will I prove myself as a boss.
I was initially given a different portfolio but as God wanted it, I was reassigned here.
I need your support to have success in all our endeavors.
“The Governor has a reason for asking me to come and hold this position and with God’s grace and the support of workers here, we shall take OYCSDA to greater heights.

“We all shall never regret working together to take our communities to better conditions. I wish for all to show discipline and dedication to the course of Oyo State development,” he charged the workers.

While welcoming the Chairman, the General Manager, OYCSDA, Mr Salau Jelili appreciated the State administration for the unceasing support given towards the realization of the agency’s mandate to develop communities across the State in sectoral intervention projects like healthcare, education, water provision, environmental and succor to the less privileged.
He pledged the support of the members of staff towards the success of the tenure of the new Chairman of the agency.

Other members of the management that were present at the event include the OYCSDA’s Manager of Operation, Mr Biliaminu Olanrewaju and the Manager, Finance and Administration, Mr. Tunji Ajadi-Oni.
