Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government has congratulated the CEO of Solutions FM, Chief Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, on his recent defection from the Accord Party to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Oyo State.
In a statement welcoming Chief Adegoke, Hon. Alawode asserted that the PDP is growing stronger and more popular due to the outstanding performance and commitment to good governance demonstrated by Governor Seyi Makinde.
The Arole Omituntun added that the unprecedented achievements of the Governor so far were unmatched and these, have been encouraging people from other parties to join PDP.
Describing Chief Adegboyega Adegoke as a poised, mature, intelligent person of good character whose genuine desire is the betterment of the society, Hon. Alawode welcomed him to the ruling party in Oyo State, PDP with an assurance that he would not regret his action.
While calling on PDP members to welcome the defectors, Chief Adegoke with open arms, Hon. Alawode enjoined all members of the party to remain united in order to continue to move the wheel of progress in PDP and Oyo State forward.
